2) Introduction to Lightroom

class description:
This presentation style class is designed to introduce new or novice users to Adobe's digital workflow software Lightroom 4/5. Three hours of tips, tricks, and time saving help will save you hours down the road! Our photography business uses Lightroom to sort, edit, and process every single image we take. This class will streamline your photography into an easy, consistent, and time saving workflow as well. You will learn how to properly set up Lightroom for your preferences, and how to import, categorize, and manage files in the Library module. You will also learn to adjust exposure, color, contrast, saturation, sharpness, cropping and more in a non-destructive manner in Lightroom's Develop module. Using a set of work” images, we will go over simple controls and techniques for bringing out an image's full potential. (Please bring your laptop with Lightroom installed.) We will also discuss how to quickly and easily batch convert files from one format to another for printing enlargements, web use and more.

Lightroom is the industry standard for editing software. We recommend this program to both amateurs and professionals because it is very user friendly for basic edits, but it also has a lot of options to grow into as your photography grows! This workshop is limited to 11 total participants (5 person minimum) and the tuition for this 3 hour event is $89. Registration will close once full.
